For example the PU leather certainly carries that factory smell for a while, and can be very hot. I think the tabs/tung on the buckles will be the first place it fails and could have been a bit stronger. However the locking zippers are a super cool feature. It is designed so the hands can be released while wearing the jacket so it can be more of a decorative fetish wear as well. The biggest problem here is the fabric sleeve end still gets in the way unless you tether it to something. These zippers also make a fun game if you don't know if they are locked or not if you are putting the jacket on yourself. The arm strap attachment is also another unique factor not present in many straitjackets. The primary intent is for each arm to be independently connected to a D ring at the back of the hip.
